STRANGER DANGER
DRAWN FOR LOVERS
These are some images that were used for the wedding of my friends, Bradford and Grant. They came to me with a list of ladies that have a special place in their hearts, and the illustrations were used all throughout the wedding. From place settings and wedding favors, to a gallery-style framing of each gal, these beauts were well represented as the supporting women in the newlyweds lives. These are just a few of my faves:

As I have not updated this blog in about one thousand years, I’m just going to post stuff from about one thousand years ago, and continue chronologically, until I meet up with the present. GET READY.
AN UPDATE
Hey everyone. I’ve had a lot going on in my life lately, almost too much, but I just wanted to give a quick update to anyone who might be interested. I recently was given the awesome opportunity to illustrate a two page editorial about street harassment for the Seattle alt-weekly, The Stranger. I did all of the drawing in the wake of loosing a very dear friend, and fortunately it was a healthy distraction from the sadness and grief I was feeling. I mention the loss of my friend because it was through his example that I raged on and made some work out of the darkness. He lived this way everyday, and will be an inspiration to me forever. Also, there is an AWESOME art party this weekend that I’ll be participating in, hosted by the ever amazing Amelia Bonow. Here is a link to the kickstarter, where you can donate to help us get a Dunk Tank, and where you can also find all of the information. Hope to see you there! http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/530598368/mellow-yellow-a-summertime-art-party
JUST A MINOR DISTRACTION
STUMPT
I went to Stumptown Comics Fest in P-town today, and it ruled. I could wander around looking at mini-comics til my head explodes. So many people doing wonderful and creative things, and so many ideas runnin’ through my head! I’ll definitely try to get a table together for next year. But for now, I did not go empty handed! I brought a lil’ comics zine with me (that Michael saved me from destroying today at a Kinko’s in Olympia) and passed it around. Here’s a lil sneak peek. If you want one, I’ll mail-swap you!

A PIECE OF THE FUTURE
So, this is a page (of questionable quality) of a comic story I’ve been working on. I haven’t visited it in a while, but after an inspiring night of DUNE at Cafe Racer last night, I’m thinking that I am ready to get back on the stick. This particular page is ripped right from the midsection of what will someday be BERT AND LUCY : I HATE BEING CALLED DEAD MEAT, a comic story of adventure and friendship! THERE IS MAGIC. THERE IS GORE. THERE ARE BURGERS! AND A CHARACTER BASED ON FREDDY MERCURY. Someday it will be redrawn, snazzed up and official, but until then…
